1. Who we are

Passionate Poodles is a family-run Toy Poodle breeder at 50 Green Hill Rd, Conestoga, PA 17516, owned by Sylvia and Samuel Fisher. This policy explains what information we collect through passionatepoodles.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. It works alongside our Terms and Conditions.

Happy Paws Grooming operates from the same address as a separate business with its own records. This policy covers Passionate Poodles only.

2. Information you give us

• Contact form: name, email, phone (optional), and your message.

• Waitlist: name, contact details, puppy preferences such as color and sex, and your timing.

• Adoption application: the above, plus household details including home type, yard, children in the home, other pets, and your experience with dogs. Some fields are required and some are optional. The form tells you which.

• Mailing list: your email address.

• Photos and updates: anything you send us after adoption, if you choose to.

We do not take payments through this website. Deposits and adoption payments are arranged directly with us, and no card or bank information passes through passionatepoodles.com.

We do not ask for Social Security numbers, driver's license numbers, or bank account details, and you should not send them to us.

3. Information collected automatically

Our website runs on Wix, which sets cookies that keep the site working: session and security cookies, load-balancing cookies, and cookies that remember your preferences. Some are required for the site to function at all. Wix also provides us with its own visitor statistics, such as page views and traffic sources.

We use Google Analytics to understand how people find and use the site. It records pages viewed, how you arrived, approximate location based on your IP address, device and browser type, and time on the site. Google Analytics assigns your browser a random identifier stored in a cookie. We do not use analytics to identify individual visitors by name, and we do not connect it to your form submissions.

Our forms may use Google reCAPTCHA to block automated spam. reCAPTCHA collects device and browser signals to tell people apart from bots, subject to Google's privacy policy and terms.

We also use Google Search Console, which reports how our pages perform in Google Search results. It draws on Google's own search data and does not collect information about your visit to our site.

4. How we use your information

• Answer your questions and review your application.

• Manage the waitlist and contact you when a puppy matches what you are looking for.

• Arrange reservations, deposits, and adoptions, and stay in touch through pickup.

• Honor our health guarantee and keep the records that support it.

• Meet our obligations under Pennsylvania law, including providing registration paperwork and health records.

• Send occasional updates if you asked to receive them.

• Operate, secure, and improve the website.

5. How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising.

We share it with the service providers who help us run the business: Wix (website hosting, forms, contact records, and email) and Google (website analytics and spam protection). Each handles the information under its own privacy terms.

If you arrange third-party transport for a puppy, we share only what that service needs to complete the delivery.

If the business is ever sold or transferred, adoption and contract records transfer with it so guarantees stay honored.

We also disclose information when the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our customers, or our dogs.

6. Cookies and your choices

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may break parts of the site, including our forms.

To opt out of Google Analytics across every site you visit, install Google's opt-out browser add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. You can read how Google handles data from sites that use its services at https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Our site does not respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals, because there is no common standard for how to interpret them. We do not sell or share personal information for advertising, so opt-out signals such as Global Privacy Control have nothing to act on here.

7. Calls, texts, and email

If you give us your phone number, we may call or text you about your inquiry, your place on the waitlist, or an adoption in progress. Standard message and data rates apply. Message frequency varies with where you are in the process. Reply STOP to any text to stop receiving them, or HELP for help. Agreeing to receive texts is never a condition of adopting a puppy, and we do not send marketing texts unless you separately opt in.

If you join our mailing list, every email includes an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing stops marketing email but not the messages we need to send about an application or adoption already underway.

8. Photos and testimonials

We love seeing how puppies settle in. If you send us photos or a written update, we may share them on our website or social media unless you tell us not to. If we publish a review or testimonial, we use a first name and last initial only. Tell us at any time that you want something taken down and we will remove it.

We do not publish photos that show children without asking you first, in writing, every time.

9. How long we keep information

• Inquiries: 24 months after our last contact.

• Waitlist entries: until you ask to come off the list, or 24 months without a response from you.

• Applications that do not lead to an adoption: 24 months.

• Adoption records, contracts, and health guarantee documentation: the guarantee period plus 7 years.

• Adoption payment and tax records: 7 years, as our accounting and tax obligations require.

• Website analytics: 14 months, then Google deletes it automatically.

10. Your privacy rights

Contact us and we will tell you what information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. We will respond within 45 days. We may keep records we are required to retain for tax, contract, or health guarantee purposes, and we will tell you if that applies.

Depending on where you live, your state may give you additional rights over your personal information. Reach out and we will honor any right that applies to you.

11. Children's privacy

This website is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. Our adoption application asks whether children live in your home so we can match a puppy to your household. Please answer with ages only. Do not send us children's names, photos, or other identifying details. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

12. Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, and our website platform maintains its own security controls. No method of transmitting information over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. We operate this website from the United States.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. When we do, we will post the new version here and update the date at the top. Material changes will be noted on the page.
